The Majesty of Mullein
I have to say, Mullein is phallic as f***! Mullein’s scientific name is verbascum thapsus. There are many Mullein varieties, but I work mostly with the local variety and the Greek Mullein. The flowers are harvested for making an oil for ear infections/pain. The leaf can be used for dry irritated coughs and sore throats. Delicious for herb smoking blends as a balancing base. The root can relieve facial spasm, nerve pain, incontinence, and has an affinity to the spine.
I always try to remember that every plant supports so many aspects of ourselves. Mullein’s flower essence reminds us of our inner sunlight. For magical uses, Mullein’s dried stalk can be transformed into a torch with beeswax and a light. Turn on your inner magic next time you encounter this erect being! #mullein
