Wild Faith Wellness’ action plan to dismantle oppressive systems and empower the people!
Wild Faith Wellness is dedicated to creating access to culturally appropriate, pleasure-centered, justice-based education and herbal products. Wild Faith acknowledges the deep disparities in our world, and the specific positionality to power we as a white run organization have.
Wild Faith will continue to navigate dismantling oppressive systems through providing by donation clinical and educational offerings to BIPOC/Trans folx, as well as continue to build a platform that uplifts BIPOC/Trans voices. Below are the tangible goals of Wild Faith Wellness to continue the essential work of dismantling white supremacist//colonial systems. Wild Faith Wellness is dedicated to creating an accountable community founded on radical love, compassion, pleasure and courage.
::Wild Faith GOALS::
1. All services including one-on-one intuitive herbal consultations, classes, workshops and programs are by donation for all BIPOC/Trans folx.
2. All donations will fund a BIPOC/Trans Scholarship fund, as well as fund local BIPOC/Trans-run businesses/organizations.
3. Financial support offered based on request & need. All herbs on sliding-scale based on the Green Bottle Sliding Scale, image in consultations. Inquire for ways to receive sliding scale &/or scholarship.
4. Use privilege//positionality to power to voice when oppressive behaviors are happening within the communities and beyond.
5. Stay true and loyal to BIPOC/Trans siblings ALWAYS, especially showing up vocally in the context of violence and oppression.
6. Support BIPOC families in Vermont building gardens for their families//communities.
7. Uplift BIPOC/Trans voices and PAY those folx for their labor/education! (see referral list)
8. Be courageous and full of love.
9. Name when I have cause harm, apologize, and do better.
10. Plans to run Wild Faith Herbal Magic School 2024 as a collaborative herbal educational platform that uplifts and benefits BIPOC/Trans herbalists.
11. Level up in providing access to pleasure-based goods and services centering folx on the margins through through Trans and Non-binary inclusive language in all sexual health education, and Regenerative/Reproductive healing offerings.
12. Organize with Rose Core Collective to further mutual aid efforts and accessible education to communities requesting healing support, including, but not limited to the Wabanaki indigenous community.
