Herbal Fertility Mentorship

Long overdue, I am celebrating the completion of a nine month mentorship with Tessa Landreau-Grasmuck of Threshold Community Midwifery in 2023. In this mentorship we focused on how to utilize herbs, lifestyle, ritual & the medical system to support pregnant, birthing and postpartum people and their families. I learned about hormonal health, nervous system support, holding space for grief, the imbalances that cause fertility concerns, how to support queer and trans families, reading labs, and herbs, herbs and more herbs. Tessa is an incredible herbalist and midwife. They actually were one of my midwives at my second home birth. If you are looking for a midwifery practice between Central Vermont and the Burlington area, I highly suggest reaching out to Tessa and Emmy at Threshold Community Midwifery.

Starting in 2019 with my own pregnancy and birth planning, I became a birth nerd. Menstruation nerd I have always been. Sex nerd, for sure. But becoming pregnant and birthing a human was a rite of passage into the magical world of birth care. With my own opening and deepening into my gender fluidity during pregnancy, I searched for educators who were creating a queer and gender affirming lens to reproduction & regeneration. In 2020, I found King Yaa, an incredible birth champion for queer and trans advocacy. I took their offering Birthing Beyond the Binary, which was my gateway to Birthing Doula Advocacy Training (BADT). Once I completed BADT’s full spectrum doula program, I took almost every other offering they had which included a postpartum doula program, lactation, childbirth education, herbal abortion care and race and gender advocacy within birth spaces.

I have been a practicing intuitive clinical herbalist for ten years now as Wild Faith Herbal Wellness. I am so honored to provide herbal, nutritional and lifestyle support to clients, as well as bring a spiritual framework to my practice. In the last ten years I have specialized in complex autoimmune conditions and reproductive health. Since becoming a doula and completing my mentorship with Tessa, I am finally ready to offer fertility and pregnancy planning care. A Fertility doula. The Pleasure Herbalist.

Please check out my offering of fertility doula care, which includes herbs, nutrition and lifestyle support from a spiritual and radical framework. Whether you are trying to conceive, pregnant or postpartum, I would be honored to serve you wherever you are in your journey.
